Bittersweet, holding you so close to me.
Nine long months we’ve waited for this, to love on you, little sis.
But the nurses like to intervene. “Track her diapers and her feeds.”

Writing is my life. It’s been with me through childhood, teenage heartbreak, the search for myself, and the beauty and challenges of motherhood. It’s one of the ways I connect with God and release the emotions that overwhelm me.
